Disclosure

Everything on this page is here because you should not have to discover it somewhere else.

Who owns this site

Cruise Ship Flowers is published by Flores Express, LLC, a Florida company trading as Floral Express, which supplies cut flowers and live plants to cruise lines commercially.

The conflict, stated plainly

The company behind this site operates in the third of the three paths described here: credentialed commercial delivery to ships and terminals. That is a direct interest in the subject matter of this directory.

Floral Express is therefore not listed anywhere on this site, at any port, in any capacity. It is not in the finder, not on a port page, not in the listings index, and not in the agent table. We do not route readers to it, link to it, or describe it. That exclusion is deliberate and permanent, and it is the reason you can read a port page here without wondering who it is steering you toward.

If that ever changes, this page changes first, and any listing would carry a commercial relationship label generated by the same code that labels everyone else.

Commercial relationships with listed operators

There are currently none. Every one of the 60 entries on this site carries a relationship of "none". No operator listed here pays us, and no link on this site is an affiliate link today.

We intend to build referral and affiliate relationships, and when we do they will appear in the table below automatically and be labelled on the listing itself. We are stating the current position rather than describing a policy in the abstract, because "we disclose our relationships" means very little when the honest answer is that there are not any yet.

How disclosure is enforced

Every listing record must declare a commercial relationship. It is a required field with four permitted values, checked when the site is built. A listing that omits it does not publish undisclosed, it stops the build. The label and the wording you see on a paid listing are generated from that field rather than written by hand, so a page cannot exist with a relationship that is not shown on it.

This is a deliberately boring mechanism. Disclosure that depends on somebody remembering is disclosure that eventually gets forgotten.

What compensation does not buy

Cruise lines

The cruise line gift programmes listed here are not affiliates and have no relationship with us. They are listed because they are the correct answer for most people, which is an awkward thing for a directory that hopes to earn referral revenue and is true anyway.

Data

This site sets no cookies, runs no advertising, has no third-party trackers and collects no personal information. It has no forms. Outbound links to operators pass through a redirect on this domain so we can count how often a listing is used; that counts the click, not the person.
