How to Send Flowers to a Cruise Cabin in Los Angeles or Long Beach
Los Angeles has two cruise ports and people constantly confuse them. Carnival sails from Long Beach, from the geodesic dome that used to house the Spruce Goose, next to the Queen Mary. Almost everyone else sails from the World Cruise Center in San Pedro, about twenty minutes away across the harbour. Sending to the wrong one is the local failure mode.

Volume figures count passenger movements, which include people getting off as well as getting on. They indicate how busy a port is, not how many cabins sail from it.
Which of the three paths works here
Cruise line pre-order
7 lines sailing from Los Angeles and Long Beach run their own gift desk with a published ordering deadline. This is the only route that puts flowers in the cabin. The deadlines are below and they are earlier than most people expect.
Pre-cruise hotel drop
Straightforward once you have established which port. San Pedro has few hotels, so a San Pedro sailing often means the guest is staying in Long Beach or near the airport anyway. Ask for the hotel name rather than guessing from the ship.
Terminal and pier delivery
Both are secured port facilities, San Pedro under the Port of Los Angeles and Long Beach under Carnival Corporation operation. Neither accepts consumer deliveries for passengers.
Cruise line gift desks at Los Angeles and Long Beach
One listing per line, carrying that line's own published wording. Where a line contradicts itself, the listing prints both statements rather than choosing between them.

Where the pre-cruise hotels are
A hotel drop only works if you send to the building the guest is actually sleeping in. These are the clusters that matter at this port.
San Pedro
Immediately beside the World Cruise Center. Limited hotel stock but the closest option to that terminal.
Downtown Long Beach
Walking distance to the Long Beach terminal under the dome, and a much larger hotel cluster than San Pedro.
LAX corridor
Twenty-five miles north. The default for anyone flying in, and a long way from either terminal.
No florist listed for this port yet
We have not yet found a florist serving Los Angeles whose own published material names the hotels used by embarking passengers or documents a cruise delivery process. Until one clears that bar it does not go on this page. Most search results for florists near a cruise port are national order-gathering sites that pass the order to whoever will take it, which is exactly the arrangement that fails on a sailing morning.
If the ship has already sailed
Mexican Riviera sailings leave in the afternoon and the next stop is a foreign port, where a private floral delivery is not something a passenger can arrange from the ship. Treat a missed sailing as a total loss.
